Barbara Polek appointed managing director

The Executive Board unanimously appointed Barbara Polek, lic.rer.pol., MSc. as Managing Director of the Round Table on Antibiotics on 13. September 2022. We are very excited to win and welcome an expert with almost 40 years experience in pharmaceutical industry who is keen to further our mission.
The appointment of Barbara Polek is a first step of the association’s planned restructuring activities. Her main tasks will include strengthening the communication as well as driving a project to pilot pull incentives in Switzerland. Most importantly, Barbara Polek will drive the transformation of the association from a volunteer-based organization to a sustainably funded organization.
